"Unless the attitude of the present government changes immediately the whole infrastructure of the Country will implode"...........Director of the South Western Regional Authority did not disagree with my statement at the monthly meeting in Tralee just before he announced that he intends to retire in October for personal reasons. The morotorium on recruitment by the present government has seen €500,000.00 of european money which was to fund two projects being returned as we were unable to recruit three people to do the work. Three people who are presently out of work, would have secured employment on projects related to the IT sector which in turn could have provided the stimulus in the creation of jobs through out the region. It is time for the present administration to take their heads out of the sand - get back in touch with reality and start doing something positive to get this country back on track.
